Arlyn G. Koehler

Age 85, of Weyauwega passed away unexpectedly Wednesday October 3, 2007 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born June 1, 1922 in Weyauwega, son of the late Arthur and Clara (Bauer) Koehler. On May 3, 1942 he married Florence Boelter in West Bloomfield. Arlyn resided in the Weyauwega area all of his life. He farmed several years, worked at Nestle's, Weyauwega Bottling Co. and was employed at the Weyauwega Co-op 37 years. He was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church where he served as Deacon for 9 years and was a past Vice-President. Arlyn had been a member of the Weyauwega Fire Dept. for 29 years. He enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren as well as golfing, bowling and dart ball. Arlyn is survived by his daughters: Janice Munsch, Redgranite; Delores Harris, Weyauwega; 4 grandchildren: Mark Harris and his friend Sheryl, and Greg Harris; Marcy Munsch and Tracie (Jason) Young; three great-grandchildren: Ricky, Aidan and Alex; a daughter-in-law: Kerry Koehler, Fremont; a special friend Jean Meidl, Weyauwega; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Florence; a son: David; two sons-in-law: Lennard Harris and Larry Munsch; two brothers: Arnold (Jack) and Orville; a sister: Lucille Mazemke and a niece Candyce. The Christian Funeral for Arlyn will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
