Bernice M. Klug

Bernice Marie Klug of Weyauwega, age 92, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday May 8, 2007 at Riverside Hospital, Waupaca. Bernice was born September 23, 1914 in the Town of Lanark, Portage County, daughter of the late Joseph and Verona (Wosniak) Peskie. She was united in marriage to Ralph R. Klug on August 25, 1937 in Weyauwega where they made their home for 68 years. Ralph preceded her in death on June 5, 2006. She will be sadly missed by her two sons who survive her: Russell R., Weyauwega and Gary C. (Gloria), Waupaca. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Luke (Katie), Waupaca; Micah (Rena), Waupaca; Jeremiah, Weyauwega; Kevin (Jillian), DePere; Kristine (Steven) Hudziak, Weyauwega; Kathy (David) Magadanz, New London; her great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Trysten, Kathryn, Kaylyn, William, Cassandra (Richard), Blake, Cole, Kylie, Kaitlyn, Corbyn and Karoleanne. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Peskie and several nieces and nephews. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph, a granddaughter Kim Marie, brothers Carl, Gerald, and Donald; a nephew Billy Peskie, her father and mother-in-law; a brother-in-law Gordon Klug, sisters-in-law, Verna (Klug) Jensen, Elaine Klug and Mary Peskie. Funeral services for Bernice will be held on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the St. Peter Lutheran Church Foundation.
