Age 70, of Weyauwega, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born on December 27, 1944, in New London, daughter of the late Lawrence and Irene (Knoke) Wangelin. Bonnie graduated from Weyauwega Union High School in 1963. She worked at Benson Corporation in Weyauwega for over 35 years, then at Lakeview Manor for a short time. Bonnie loved gardening, canning, fishing, and her special animals Blossom and MeMe. She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. She is survived by her husband Gale, Weyauwega; sister: Barbara (Donald) Pankratz; brothers: Donald (Diane) Wangelin; Douglas Wangelin; nieces and nephews: Jeffrey (Sue) Pankratz, Tamara (Jerome) Mortimer, Randall (Sarah) Pankratz, Stacey (Ken) Pankratz, Gregg Wangelin, Angel (Rob) Johnson, Amy (Mike) Luellen, Douglas (Regina) Wangelin Jr.; also great nieces and nephews, one great-great-niece and many wonderful neighbors and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Elmer Miller and a brother Bruce Wangelin. A memorial service for Bonnie will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, with Rev. Newlin Schafer and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A gathering of family and friends will take place directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
