Brandon Edward Colligan, age 26, Town of Royalton, formerly of Weyauwega, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 17, 2022. He was born in Waupaca, son of Michael Colligan, and Genny Collar. He graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School in 2014. Following high school he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Business from UW-Oshkosh. While at Oshkosh he was very involved in student government and in political campaigns in the state and national level. Brandon was passionate about coffee, men’s fashion, and traveling.
He is survived by mother: Genny Collar; brother: Tyler Colligan; paternal grandmother: Mary Colligan; father: Michael Colligan and long time partner Tracy Bourke, and her children: Alexandra (Michael) St. Marie, and their children Jace and Joey; Grayson Bourke; aunts and uncles: Pat Anunson, Mary Jansen, Lori Collar, Donna (Roger) Besaw, Katie Weiland (fiance Greg Heineman), George Montgomery; many cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Gerald Colligan; maternal grandparents: Francis (Eileen) Collar; aunt: Sue Montgomery; uncles: Dale Collar, Mike Jansen.
The Funeral Mass for Brandon will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00am at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega (608 E. Main St.) with Fr. Matthew Rappl officiating. Burial will be in Ravine Cemetery, Wild Rose. A visitation for Brandon will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 3:00 – 7:00pm AT THE CHURCH, and on Friday from 9:00am until 10:45am.
