Brenda Sue Gibbs

Brenda Sue Gibbs, age 60, of Weyauwega, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was born in Chicago, IL on July 18, 1961, daughter of the late Walter and Marilyn (Brogaard) Banicki.

Brenda attended school in the Weyauwega-Fremont School District. She enjoyed being a cook a number of years at the Waupaca Truck Stop. She then worked as a cashier at Festival Foods in New London for over 20 years. Brenda was currently working at Piggly Wiggly in Waupaca as a closing Manager. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Waupaca and loved to share the gospel message. She gave everything without asking for anything in return.

She is survived by her two sons: Joshua and Jeremiah Gibbs; siblings: Linda Hemingson, Edward Banicki; step-brothers and sisters: Brenda, Lori, Jeff, Randy and Bradley; half-brother Lorin; uncles: Roger, Danny, Richard and Chris. She is further survived by her former husband Jeff Gibbs, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service for Brenda will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Waupaca (615 W. Union St.) with Rev. David Goyke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. A visitation for Brenda will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
