Carlien Marie Holliday, Iola, formerly of Manawa, died on Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Manawa Community Nursing Center. She was born on October 22, 1933 in Shawano, daughter of the late Harry and Larena (Bartlett) Schreiber. Carlien graduated from Shawano High School. She worked as a CNA for over 30 years. She also worked at Sturms Foods in Manawa for many years. Carlien enjoyed snowmobiling, arts and crafts, tending bar and baking.
She is survived by her children: Marsha Betzner, Joe (Janis) Urban, Nancy (Jon) Doran, Gary Urban, Cindy (Steve) Schroeder and Melodie Seymer, Carol (Mark) Nollenberg and Chuck (Tonya) Heling; step-children: Tom Heling, Jim (Mary) Heling and Pat Heling; grandchildren: Mathew Betzner, Christopher Betzner, Chelsea Urban, Jason (Kele) Doran, Chad (Shae) Doran, Michael Urban, Charlotte Lutz, Adam Urban, Megan Urban, Brett Schroeder, Sara Schroeder, Benjamin (Jackelyn) Schroeder, Calynn Schroeder, Katelynn Schroeder, Nicholas Schroeder, Dakota, Drake and Daytana Heling; many great grandchildren; siblings: Harold (Darlene) Schreiber and Audrey Criscione. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Roger Urban, Clarence Heling and Elwood Holliday; son: Michael Urban; step daughter Mary Heling; grandson Scott Betzner; siblings: Stella Flessert and Gloria Urban.
Private family services will be held for Carlien, but a public gathering of family and friends, to celebrate her life, will be held at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 1-3 p.m.
