age 63 of Weyauwega, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 16, 2010 at New London Family Medical Center of an apparent heart attack. She was born November 24, 1946 in Iola, daughter of the late Glen and Ethel (Wilcox) Dumbleton. Carol graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School with the class of 1964. On November 28, 1964 she married Thomas Prahl at the Royalton Congregational United Church of Christ. While a member there she taught Sunday School. She presently was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in New London. Carol enjoyed gardening, painting wild life on milk cans and saws, quilting, baking and sewing. She also enjoyed writing poems. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; children: Pamela Jean Prahl, Weyauwega; Bart Thomas Prahl, Manawa; Clint Edward (LouAnn) Prahl, New London; Amy Renee Prahl, New London; 8 grandchildren; brother, Larry (Joan) Dumbleton, New London; sister, Judith Schendel, New London. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gerald. The funeral service for Carol will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in New London with Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega from 4-8p.m. on Thursday and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
