Cecelia Ona Hirte

Cecelia Ona Hirte, age 79, of Fremont, formerly of Weyauwega passed away peacefully Wednesday March 5, 2008 at her home in Fremont. She was born April 21, 1928 in the Town of Weyauwega, Waupaca County, daughter of the late William and Ona (Quade) Hirte. She was a resident of Weyauwega most of her life. The past two years she made her home with James and Julie Werth in Fremont. She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Weyauwega. Cecelia was proud of her job at Waupaca County Industries in Manawa. She enjoyed puzzles and making tie blankets. She loved food, especially ice cream. She enjoyed going to Washington Center in New London where she played bingo, Yahtzee and other games. Survivors include a sister: Iris Rogers, Waupun; a brother: Duane (Karie) Hirte, Seattle, WA; a sister-in-law: Catherine Hirte, Waupaca; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Christian Funeral Service for Cecelia will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2008 at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in the spring. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
