Connie J. (Schultz) Dunnihoo, age 47 of Manawa, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at St. Joseph Residence in New London, after a long battle with brain cancer. Connie was born on May 1, 1970 to Steven and Virginia (Meyer) Schultz. She graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1988. Connie was employed at Sturm Foods for many years, until she could no longer work due to her illness. On June 11, 2005 she married Terry Dunnihoo. Connie loved shopping, fishing, riding motorcycle with Terry, listening to Bon Jovi and going to Hodag Country Music Festival, which she started going to in 1998 with her sister Tina.
Connie is survived by her husband Terry: parents, Steve and Virginia Schultz; grandmother, Victoria Schultz; sister, Tina Schultz; nephew, Nicholas Schultz and great-niece, Briar-Rose. She is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Connie is also survived by special friends, Sherry, Pam, Barb, Ann and Tami.
Connie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Allen Schultz; maternal grandparents, Gregory and Rose Meyer and uncle, Michael Besaw.
Private family services will be held for Connie, however; a public gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Cline Hanson Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa from 4-7 p.m.
The family would like to thank all the staff at ThedaCare, St. Joseph Residence and Southern Care Hospice for taking care of Connie throughout her illness.
