Daniel Clifford Goetsch

Daniel C. Goetsch, age 75, of Weyauwega, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Theda Care Regional Medical Center of Appleton. He was born in New London on May 31, 1946, son of the late Clifford and Mabel (Impelman) Goetsch. Dan graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School in 1964. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Following his time in the service, he worked as a union laborer for Cottrell Plastering for 35 years. He recently received his 50th year Anniversary pin from the Union. He then worked for the Village of Fremont for 10 years in maintenance. He was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega.

Danny enjoyed life and lived it to it’s fullest. He made people laugh and always had a smile on his face. Wherever he went, there was always a pot that needed to be “stirred”. It was always a good time when Danny was there.

He is survived by his children: Megan Willis and Justin Goetsch; grandchildren: Logan and Mya Willis; siblings: Fred (Darlene) Goetsch, Sharon (Jack) Wohlt; sister-in-law Sharon Goetsch. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Gerald and Russell Goetsch; sister-in-law Janet Goetsch and brother-in-law Guy "Butch" Lankford.

A Celebration of Life for Danny will be held at the Brew Haus at 111 E. Main St. Weyauwega, WI 54983 on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 12pm – 5pm. For online condolences, please visit www.dahlkefh.com

Danny said it was time to seek additional “help” from Upper Management about finally getting that grocery store in Weyauwega.
