Darnell D. Zirbel

Age 72, of Waupaca, passed away at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega on Thursday, December 8, 2011. Darnell was born on April 26, 1939, in New London, son of the late Arnold and Elsie (Bork) Zirbel. Darnell is survived by his sisters and brothers: Beverly (Bob) Glocke, Royalton; La Wayne (Nancy) Zirbel, Weyauwega; Karen Zirbel, Appleton; Janet (Don) Beilke, Appleton; Darlene (Lee) Mosher, Shawano; Charlotte Van Cuick, Appleton; Sandra (David) Le Clair, Combined Locks; Irene (Steve) Rothe, New London; Orin (Lynn) Zirbel, Royalton; Argil Zirbel, West Allis; Jack (Betty) Zirbel, Pembine; and Vicki Zirbel, Appleton. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Gerhardt, Steve and Jimmy Zirbel; also a brother-in-law, George Van Cuick. The family would like to thank the staff at Hartman Place in Waupaca and Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega for their care and concern of Darnell. The funeral service for Darnell will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Royalton Cemetery, Town of Royalton. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Monday from noon until the time of the service.
