David B. Richter

Age 58, of Manawa died unexpectedly Sunday June 1, 2008 at New London Family Medical Center. He was born January 1, 1950 in Clintonville son of the late Ervin and Jean (Thurston) Richter. David graduated from Marion High School with the class of 1968. On October 4, 1969 he married Sally Voss at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa. He worked most of his life as a dry waller. He also worked at Trade Winds and later Wal-Mart. He was presently employed by the Waupaca School District as a custodian. David was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa. He enjoyed gun and bow hunting. He was a fan of older cars and collected car models. Survivors include his wife: Sally; his children: Tracy (David) Jensen and their children Ryan and Wendy, New London; Nikki Richter and special friend Jody Raddatz, New London; Shaun (Becky) Richter, Greenville; a brother: Dean (Sami) Richter, Jacksonville, Arkansas; aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenny and Robert. The funeral service for David will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 4, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Wally Waite officiating. Burial will be in Little Wolf Cemetery, Manawa. Relatives and friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service Dave was a great dad, grandfather and wonderful husband. He will be missed very, very much.
