On Tuesday, April 27th, 2021, David Dean Stowell, of Weyauwega, went home to be with God at the age of 43. David passed away peacefully at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca after a long battle with a terminal illness. He was born August 31st, 1977, in Janesville, to Dean and Nancy Stowell.
David was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed his sports including watching the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers, along with playing baseball and golf. He loved taking his little buddy Chazz fishing.
David was a handyman of sorts. He spent many years working for his uncle Mike at Rogers Paint Company. He loved working with his hands either painting, carpentry, roofing, tree felling, or any other jobs that anyone needed finished.
He is survived by his parents: Dean (Sue) Stowell, Nancy Stowell; sister: DeAnn (Jeff) Nighbor; nephews: Bradley, Trevor, and Ryan Nighbor; girlfriend: Belinda Dassow and children; grandma: Shirly McLean along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Elmer and Gladys Rogers, and grandpa Charlie McLean.
A celebration of life will be held at Adams Town Hall (1980 11th Ave.) Friendship, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 8th from 11 am until 2 pm. Lunch will be served at noon.
