Dawn Lynn Jones

Dawn Lynn Jones, age 62, of Iola WI, passed away on April 21, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family. Dawn was born on April 29, 1959, in Waupaca, WI, daughter of the late William Albright and Sharon (Scheaffer) Albright, growing up in Cobbtown. She graduated Waupaca High school in the class of 1977 and was married to Charles C. Jones on April 5, 1990, a true, everlasting love.

Dawn recently retired on April 30, 2021 from Sturm Foods where she had her second family of 32 years. She continued to spread love and grace in the towns of New London, Amherst, Manawa and Ogdensburg area while feeling she was a Las Vegas resident. She found her final resting place at the lake house in Iola, WI.

Dawn enjoyed adventures with the grandkids, kayaking, B-I-N-G-O with her sister, bird watching, and sleepovers with the Maxine girls. She also found joy in fishing, having a few cocktails with many friends and family, spontaneous shopping trips with the kids, and the famous Packers touchdown dance. Dawn's greatest love was her family.

Dawn is survived by her husband: Charles Jones; daughters: Tanya (Sam) Jones of Manawa, Lisa (Gene) Buelow of Iola, Natasha (Kris) Knapp of Ogdensburg; son: Zack (Mindy) Jones; grandchildren: Austin, Mitchell, Travis, Brandon, Miranda, Devin, Spencer, Tanner, Chase, Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel; 5 great grandchildren; sister Debra (Keith) Jones; brother: David (Patricia) Albright; many loving and amazing nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: William Albright, and Sharon Alright; sister: Dianne Albright; grandson: Nikolas.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Ogdensburg on Thursday, April 28,2022 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Mary Bope officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:30 am until 12:45 pm.
