Debbie Joen Schmude

September 15, 1983 — October 22, 2010

A daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and best friend was taken too early from us on October 22, 2010 in a tragic car accident on Hwy 10 on her way home for a Friday night Fish Fry with her family. At the tender age of 27 Debbie Joen Schmude left us with a departing smile. Debbie affected the lives of everyone she met. She was a prized member of Phi Omega Sorority, holding many executive positions including President for one year at Stevens Point. We will miss her charismatic smile, distinctive laugh, and her upbeat "hello" when she would walk into a room. Debbie graduated from Marion High School in 2002 and went on to attend University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She graduated from UWSP in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and was currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling through Capella. She will be joining her mother Lorraine Elizabeth "Ferge" Schmude who passed away after a three year battle with cancer in 1988.
