Elaine Fuhs

Elaine V. Fuhs of Manawa, age 78, passed away Saturday March 11, 2006 at Manawa Community Nursing Center. She was born June 11, 1927 in the Town of Little Wolf Waupaca Co., daughter of the late Otto and Martha (Chick) Fuhs. She lived in the Town of Little Wolf, Waupaca Co. until moving to Manawa in 1962. She had been employed at A. Sturm & Sons. Elaine was a life member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa. She was confirmed April 6, 1941 and graduated from St. Paul Lutheran School May 27, 1941. She loved embroidering, playing Yahtzee, growing violets and singing. She was especially fond of her nieces and nephews. Survivors include a brother: Ronald (Shirley) Fuhs, Manawa; a sister: Evelyn Klotzbuecher, Manawa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Everette and a sister, Verna. The Christian Funeral for Elaine will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday March 14, 2006 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. H. William Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Little Creek Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Manawa Community Nursing Center for the wonderful care given to Elaine.
