Age 90, of Manawa, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born on February 6, 1920 in the Town of Royalton, daughter of the late Oscar and Anna (Lauer) Walbruck. Eleanor lived in the Manawa-Ogdensburg area her entire life. For over 60 years she farmed in the Town of St. Lawrence. Besides farming she worked at Hillshire farm. She also enjoyed raising her family. She loved rummage sales and playing cards. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa. She is survived by two sons: Clarence Jr. (Patricia) Kipke, Waupaca; Leo L. (Debra) Kipke, Ogdensburg; daughter-in-law: Beverly Kipke, Ogdensburg; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Arlene (Bruce) Logan, Texas; Rose (Lyle) Kaddatz, Marie (Bob) Schutte, both of New London. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, son Thomas, four sisters and two brothers. The Funeral Mass for Eleanor will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa with Fr. Brian Belongia officiating. Burial will be in Little Wolf Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
