Esther A. Patek

Age 93, of Weyauwega, died on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Weyauwega Health Care Center. She was born on April 27, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late John & Esther (Andersen) Annerson. On September 19, 1948, she married Rudolph Patek in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1982. Esther shared a love for music with her husband and worked with him in a music store they owned and operated in Chicago for many years. He retired in 1962 and they moved to a small farm near Weyauwega in 1971. She is survived by nieces: Mary Esther Annerson, Chicago, IL; Shirley (Vernon) Bumb Jr., Florida; also grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, also 4 brothers a sister-in-law Connie Annerson, and a niece and a nephew. The funeral service for Esther will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Fr. Bertin Samsa OFM Cap officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
