Esther M. Prill

Age 104, of Manawa, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2006. She was born on July 10, 1902 in Ogdensburg, daughter of the late Charles & Minnie (Frank) Jasman. On April 30, 1924 she married Ludwig Prill at the parsonage of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Symco. They farmed in the Town of Union until 1960 when they moved to Symco. She is survived by three children: Elmer Prill, Symco; Cora Kahl, Harshaw; Dave (Vivian) Prill, Waupaca; eight grandchildren: Dennis Prill, Manawa; Charlotte (John) Thomack, Bear Creek; Audrey (Paul) Partika, Hortonville; Don (Tammy) Prill, Bear Creek; Gary (Barb) Prill, Ogdensburg; James (Jamie) Prill, Clintonville; Susan Prill, Green Bay; Ashley Prill, Waupaca; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; and a daughter-in-law Alice Prill. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louie, a son Dan, her daughter-in-law Velda Prill, her son-in-law Ralph Kahl, three sisters and two brothers. The funeral service for Esther will be held on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Symco with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Symco. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
