Evelyn B. Wilke

Of Weyauwega, age 85, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Riverside Hospital in Waupaca. She was born on January 21, 1921 in Wild Rose, daughter of the late Henry & Mary (Williams) Wellner. On August 30, 1941 she married Harry Hudziak in Wautoma. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1972. She married Melvin Wilke on January 4, 1975. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1999. She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her loving caring spirit. She is survived by her children: Marlin (Carol) Hudziak, Waupaca; Jerald Hudziak and friend Donna, Weyauwega Daniel (Ginny) Hudziak, Appleton; son-in-law: William Shaw, Appleton; grandchildren: Pam (Dan) Stearns; Mark Hudziak; Steve (Kris) Hudziak; Chad (Ann) Hudziak; Sally (Bill) Swanson; Duane (Kim) Hudziak; Chris (Colleen) Hudziak; Denise (Charles) Jahnke; Kevin (Jeanne) Shaw; Brian (Jan) Shaw; 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is survived by three sisters and one brother: Thelma Anderson, Milwaukee; Arlene Shulta, Milwaukee; Alice Koepsell, Weyauwega; Leroy (Terri) Wellner, Milwaukee; sisters-in-law: Mary Wellner, West Bend; Georgianna Slenk, Chicago; Helen Maciejeski, Wild Rose; Maria Hudziak, Wautoma; Sadie Borchardt, Menasha; Dorothy Wilke, Ohio; Germaine Wilke, Weyauwega; Betty (Charles) Seidl, Combined Locks; Lorriane Hudziak, Wautoma; brothers-in-law: Clement (Marie) Hudziak, Janesville; Russell (Shirley) Wilke, Neenah; Duaine (Rita) Wilke, Menasha; Roger (Diane) Wilke, Appleton; She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a daughter Shirley Shaw, a daughter –in-law Peggy Hudziak, sister Margaret (Martin) Priebe, a brother Art Wellner, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Clint (Agnes) Hudziak, brothers-in-law: Martin Priebe, William Anderson, Leonard Shulta, Henry Koepsell, Ollie Hudziak, Gust Hudziak, Alphonso Hudziak, Jack Hudziak, Raymond Hudziak, Leonard Hudziak, Thomas Wargula, Edward Nigbor, Victor Wilke, Harold Wilke, Dennis Wilke, Levi Borchardt, Lloyd Pavlick; sisters-in-law: Wanda Hudziak, Charlotte Wargula, Lucille Warzynski, Merna Hudziak, Clara Hudziak, Geraldine Nigbor, Agnes Wilke, Genevieve Pavlick. The Funeral Mass for Evelyn that will celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Bert Samsa OFM Cap officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Wautoma. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega on Friday January 19, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
