Francis G. Slomska

Francis G. Slomska, age 97, of Weyauwega, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. He was born on January 16, 1926, in the Town of Larrabee, Waupaca County, son of the late Paul and Alvina (Werth) Slomska. Francis proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked at James River Corporation in Menasha for 44 years, retiring in 1995. Francis enjoyed polka music and loved dancing to it, also playing cards and being outdoors.

He is survived by his daughters: Jacqueline Flater and her children: Jason Phillips, Heather Phillips, and Brandon (Morgan) Flater; Beverly (Larry) Wepner and their children: Robert and Andrew Wepner. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Roberta; son Robert Slomska; daughters Tammy Slomska and Christine Slomska, other relatives and friends.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Francis's life.
