Gary Edward Ory

Age 65, departed this earthly world on August 2, 2008 in Naples, Florida. He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on June 7, 1943, the son of Robert and Alma (Jeske) Ory. Gary was formerly employed at Air France in Chicago, Illinois where he made his home. His primary hobby was traveling the world. He is survived by his sister, Audrey Clark of Fond du Lac; and her children, who he thought as his own: Lance Abrahamson, Bruce (Brenda) Abrahamson, Kim (Ronald) Luebke, Jodi (Norman) Parson, Jeffrey (Carrie) Abrahamson, and Anthony (Amy) Clark. He is further survived by his sister-in-law Gwendolyn Ory and her children, Leslie, Vicki, Cindy, Jerry and Donnie, Scott Appleby, many great and great-great nieces and nephews and numerous family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his loving companion of 37 years, Maurice Swee in July of 2007, his parents, a sister; Marilyn (Robert) Appleby, a brother Owen Ory; brothers-in-law; Norman Abrahamson and David Clark. A memorial service celebrating Gary's life will be held at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday August 16, 2008 with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
