Genevieve L. Haight

Genevieve L. Haight of Manawa, age 85, passed away Friday December 15, 2006 at her home. She was born March 27, 1921 in Royalton daughter of the late William and Grace (Van Ornum) Smith. She resided most of her life in the Manawa area. She married Floyd Haight July 3, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1981. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa. She loved to fish and enjoyed watching the birds. Survivors include three sons: Robert Benedict, MA; Leslie Haight and John Haight, both of Manawa; two granddaughters: Tracy (Shannon) Knapp, Ogdensburg; Robin (Brian) Bork, Marion; two great grandchildren; Doris (Merlyn) Fahser, Manawa; Ruth Roloff, New London; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Prayer Service for Genevieve will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday December 18, 2006 at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa led by Sr. Marie Rose of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa. Burial will be in Little Wolf Cemetery, Manawa. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
