Germaine Wilke

Age 77, of Weyauwega, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca following a brief illness. She was born on September 6, 1933, in Weyauwega, daughter of the late Eldor and Irmgard Behn. She resided in Weyauwega all of her life. She worked at Bethany Home in Waupaca as a nursing assistant. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. Germaine loved spending time with family and friends. Some of her hobbies included baking, cards, Packers and traveling. Survivors include a son, Randy (Mary) Bucholtz; brother, Darrell (Wilda) Behn; special sister-in-law, Fran Behn; other sisters-in-law: Sadie Borchardt, Betty (Charles) Seidl; brothers-in-law: Russell (Shirley), Duaine (Rita), Roger (Diane); step-children: Steve (Melanie), Bryan and Denise (Scott) Baldwin; 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; also a special cousin, Phyllis. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dennis, son Steve and a brother Dewey Behn. The Christian Funeral for Germaine will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Hatton Cemetery in the Town of Lind. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
