Gregory Lee Morgan

Gregory Lee Morgan, age 59 of Berlin, formerly of Weyauwega, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at ThedaCare Hospital in Berlin. The 3rd child of 5, Greg was born on November 26, 1961 in Berlin to Donald and Beverly (Wendt) Morgan. He was baptized on February 18, 1962 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi. Greg attended Highland Elementary School in Appleton, finishing 3rd grade. Greg had many difficulties in his life due to Cerebral Palsy. He spent many years at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega, then at Crossroads Care Center in Weyauwega, and then to other group homes, and lastly at Mound House in Berlin. Greg was always a happy young man and always had a smile for anyone showing him attention. He spent some of his earlier years working at the Sheltered Work Shop in Manawa. Greg loved listening to music and always wanted visitors to hear his music. He was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega.

Survivors include his parents; brothers: Thomas (special friend Brenda) Morgan, Terry (Jodie) Morgan, Jon Morgan, all of Weyauwega; sister: Sheila (Mike) Dorsett of Poy Sippi; many much-loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Orlin and Ruth Morgan, Harvey and Stella Wendt; nephew: Jon Jacob Morgan.

A special thank you to the great care given to him in the ICU of ThedaCare Medical Center – Berlin. The doctors and nurses had so much compassion and it was greatly appreciated.

The Christian Funeral for Greg will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with the Rev. Aaron Kristopeit officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:45am at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to St. Peter Lutheran School, Weyauwega.
