Illa Mae (Bock) Niemuth, age 86, Manawa, went to her heavenly home on Saturday January 16, 2016 at St. Joseph Residence, New London. She was born on May 20, 1929, in the town of DuPont, daughter of the late Walter and Ida (Marquardt) Bock.
On June 2, 1950, she was united in marriage to Allen “Pete” Niemuth. She was the office manager for Niemuth’s Trucking. Illa loved to bake and cook for her family. She took great pride in her yard and loved plants. Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy. She was a longtime member of St. Mark Church, Symco.
She is survived by her daughter Sherri (Daryl) Schramm, New London; sons, Todd (Debbie) Niemuth, Scott Niemuth, both of Manawa. 4 grandchildren Lisa Lathrop (Special Friend Wayne Krueger), Brent Schramm (Fiancée, Amy Hirst), Bryn Niemuth, Britney (Justin) Riesenberg; 5 great grandchildren: Dylan, Kylie, Addisyn, Jax, and Jeren. She is further survived by special friends and long-time neighbors Arden and Barb Lightfuss. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Symco. Service to follow at 6 pm with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Symco.
