Irene Gertrude Marasch, age 92 passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Cherry Meadows Hospice, Appleton, WI.
She was born July 27, 1929 in Killdeer, ND to Leonard & Cora (Adams) Eggert. She was a registered nurse for 40 years. She married Elmer Marasch in 1951. They had 2 daughters. Together they enjoyed gardening & auctions. Irene also enjoyed reading, baking, sewing & crocheting. Her passion was doing genealogy.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Judy (Tom) Douglas, New London, WI, Janice Marasch (special friend Pete Andersen) Lawson MO. 2 grandchildren; Tommy Douglas, Appleton, WI, Tara Douglas, Omro, WI. 4 great-grandchildren; Destiny Douglas (Fiancé Nic Burton), Brianna Bork, Damion Blohm, Justice Blohm. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents & husband, Irene was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Glenn Eggert & Earl Eggert, 2 sisters; Myrtle Dillon & Betty Odell, all of Odessa, MO & 3 grand children; Tanya (Douglas) Otto, Zachary LaTessa & Jason Marasch-Bright.
Funeral and Interment will take place in Odessa, MO.
