Irmgard M. Behn, age 93, of Weyauwega passed away Friday August 3, 2007 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab Center in Waupaca. She was born August 20, 1913 in the Town of Bloomfield, Waushara County daughter of the late Henry and Hulda (Steinke) Steinberg. On December 14, 1932 she married Elder R. Behn. He preceded her in death May 10, 1993. She lived and farmed with her husband in the Town of Bloomfield until moving to Weyauwega in September of 1992. She had worked in food service at Wisconsin Veterans Home, King retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church and had been a member of the Ladies Aid. She collected miniature lamps for 50 years. She is survived by a daughter: Germaine Wilke, Weyauwega; a son: Darrell (Wilda) Behn, Manawa; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren;a daughter-in-law: Francine Behn of Appleton and also nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Duane; a grandson Stephen; 3 sisters, a brother and a son-in-law Dennis Wilke . The Christian Funeral Service for Irmgard will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday August 20, 2007 at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. Relatives and friends may call directly at the church on Monday August 20. 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
