James Edward Hass

Age 81, of Manawa, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on October 16, 1929, in the Town of Little Wolf, son of the late Edward and Esther (Erdman) Hass. On April 25, 1953, he married Elaine F. Krause at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa. She preceded him in death in 2001. Jim lived and farmed in the Town of Little Wolf for most of his life. He also drove school bus for the Little Wolf School District for around 30 years. Jim loved to hunt, fish and travel. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa. He is survived by two daughters, Pat Koltz,Oshkosh; Penney Korotka, Manawa; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a great-granddaughter,Kayla Rae Janke. The funeral service for Jim will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. Burial will be in Little Wolf Cemetery, in the Town of Little Wolf. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Friday (TODAY) from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
