James O. Miller

James Otis Miller, age 69, of Waupaca, formerly of Weyauwega, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Wisconsin Veteran's Home in King. He was born on July 24, 1942 in Baldwins Mill, Town of Royalton, son of the late Otis and Viola (Haire) Miller. Jim graduated from West Bend High School. Following high school, he served his country in the U.S. Navy. Jim worked as a truck driver for many years with various companies retiring in 2007. Jim liked working with model cars and airplanes. He loved to go to car shows and also loved working on old vehicles. He is survived by his children: Elizabeth Miller, West Bend; Doris Stickles, Iola; Holly Miller, Elkhorn; step-son: Dean (Emily) Svacina, Waupaca; 8 grandchildren and one on the way; sister: Sonja A. Grawvunder, Weyauwega; brother David Miller, Weyauwega. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service for Jim will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Greg Watling officiating. A visitation for Jim will be held on Monday at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service.
