Age 74, of Weyauwega, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 4, 2008, at his residence. He was born on June 21, 1933, in Glenview, Illinois, son of the late James Sr. and Martha (Uttenweiler) Hardy. On July 25, 1953, he married Luella "Min" Raupp in Des Plaines, Illinois. Jim and Min lived in Illinois most of their life until moving to Weyauwega in May of 1981. Jim and his brothers owned and operated Hardy Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega. Jim was an antique car enthusiast, and avid collector, and also enjoyed boating and fishing with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Luella "Min"; his children: Cheryl Hardy, Gary (Karen) Hardy, Dawn (Doug) Ruhnke, Dan (Lisa) Hardy; grandchildren: Beth, Kelly, Kurt, James, Ben, and Matt; two brothers: Neal Hardy and Tom (Jan) Hardy. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Douglas. The Funeral Mass for Jim will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Fr. Bertin Samsa OFM Cap officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
