James W. Squires

James (Jim) W. Squires passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 23, 2023 at the age of 66. Jim was born in New London, WI on March 1, 1957, son of the late Robert & Nancy Squires. He was a graduate of Little Wolf High School in Manawa in 1975.

Jim earned his Black Belt from United Tae Kwon Do Federation and Cho's Black Belt Academy. He enjoyed showing off the love of his favorite car, his mustangs. He was an avid Packer fan & could hear the home games from his house in Green Bay.

Jim worked at Hurlbut Cement and then ventured into owning his own ice cream and deli shop in the Valley Fair Mall for several years. His last job before retiring was a medical courier for Prevea Health. He was a member of the Manawa Masonic Lodge #82, A Shriner of Beja Shrine, and a member of the Manawa United Methodist Church.

Jim is survived by two brothers, Tom (Karen) Squires and Brian (Susan) Squires along with cousins Larry (Eileen) Squires, Dave Squires & friend Jody, Rick (Cindy) Squires, James Underberg, Amy Underberg (Sarah Berg) & Barbara Underberg along with many 2nd & 3rd cousins.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Nancy Squires, his Uncle Bill (Gaylord) & Chris (Marie) Squires, Uncle Harry (Harrison) & Shirley Underberg and his beloved Aunt Mary Ann (Squires) Koeller.

A Masonic Funeral Service for Jim will be held at Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Manawa on October 7, 2023 at 12:00 PM. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 - 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Little Wolf Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at Cedar Springs Golf Course.
