Age 91, New London, formerly of Manawa, died on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Trinity Terrace in New London; which he was a resident of for the last 9 years. Jack was born on December 30, 1918, in the Township of Lebanon, son of the late Bernard and Mary (O'Donnell) Gorman. He lived and farmed in the Lebanon Township all of his life. He was also a milk hauler for over ten years. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa. Jack is survived by a brother, James (Mary Ann) Gorman, Manawa; two sisters, Rosemary (George) Payne, Oshkosh; and Mary Ellen (Patrick) Mc Clone, Clintonville; a sister-in-law, Ellen Gorman and also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Eleanor, two brothers, David (Eileen) and Garret (Edna) and a nephew, Peter Gorman. Funeral services for Jack will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Chapel, New London with Fr. Brian Belongia officiating. Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Township of Lebanon. Friends and family may call at the St. Joseph Chapel on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Trinity Terrace and Heartland Hospice for their care and concern of Jack.
