John E. Fronczak

John Fronczak, age 70, of Weyauwega, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023, surrounded by family.

John was born in New London on February 20, 1953 to Gordon and Hilda Fronczak. John assisted his parents on the family farm until his father's passing in 1977. From there John found his calling working for J.R. Larson in the scrap yard. He could be found riding his bike every day to and from work. It didn't matter what the weather conditions were. He worked there until the early 2000's when it was sold. He then worked for Naptuck Salvage as a lead scrap yard attendant. In John's free time, he had many hobbies. Gardening was his passion though. "This is the year I'm not going to have a big garden," is what he would say at the beginning of each year, and by the end it was huge. His second passion was duck and goose hunting with his family. He also would never turn down the opportunity to throw a game of horse shoes- he will truly be missed on the Wednesday night leagues. John enjoyed watching his grandkids and nephews play sports, especially wrestling. He was an avid deer hunter as well. John was a very kind and gentle man, helping anyone that needed it.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Hilda Fronczak; brothers-in-law: Eugene Hansen, Charles Vaughan, Gene Nelson. He is survived by his children: Carl Fronczak and Chad Fronczak (Robin); his grandchildren: Jaiden Fronczak, Claire Fronczak, and Katelyn Long. John also is survived by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will not be a formal service for John, but a visitation to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 4-7 pm at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Weyauwega.
