Age 31, Manawa died on Thursday, August 4, 2011, at University Hospital, Madison following an accident. Justin was born on February, 22, 1980, New London. On May 12, 2007, he was united in marriage to Carrie Tech at St. Paul Church, Manawa. Justin was a 1998 graduate from Little Wolf High School, Manawa. He was employed with his father at Meidam Builders since high school. Justin was an avid outdoorsman, loving hunting and fishing and just about every sport. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church Manawa. Justin is survived by his wife Carrie; their daughter, Emma at home and also their soon to be born son, Justin Ray II; his parents, George and Sue Meidam, Manawa; sister, Angie Meidam (Special friend, Jim Jacobsen), Manawa; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Hass, Manawa; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Sara Bolen (special friend, Greg Wroblewski), Greenville; Benjamin (Megan) Tech, Virginia Beach, VA; mother and father-in-law, Chris and Debbie Tech, Manawa. Two nieces, Briley Bolen and Sadie Jacobsen and a nephew, Jarret Bolen. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George (Irene) Meidam and maternal grandfather, Louis Hass. Funeral services for Justin will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Manawa with Rev. Wally Waite officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home, Manawa and also at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Little Wolf Cemetery, Town of Little Wolf. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. The family would like to thank everyone at the accident for the care they showed Justin. Also thanks to Thedastar, the doctors, nurses and staff at UW Madison burn center. Thank you to all the family and friends for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Justin, our best friend, has gone to the place where all the bucks are Booners and every bass weighs over five pounds. We will always and forever love and remember you. Your family and friends.
