Karalee J. (Bork) Dieck, 86, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 12, in Marshfield, WI. Karalee was born on November 1, 1937, in Weyauwega, WI, to the late Arnold and Mildred (Thiel) Bork.
After graduating from Weyauwega High School, she attended the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, where she met Delmer Dieck, marrying on September 7, 1957. In 1970, after establishing their family, Karalee finished her degree in Education and went on to have a successful career as a middle school teacher, in her hometown, Weyauwega, WI.
Karalee was very loving and caring and was known for her generosity. She was very reserved, but could be quite spunky, as well. Her many interests and talents included reading, cooking, gardening, horseback riding, camping, sewing, and quilting. She also had a passion for all things having to do with birds, especially loons. Most of all, though, Karalee loved to shop! Finding a good bargain and buying gifts for her loved ones filled her heart with joy.
Karalee is preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Dieck. She is survived by her children: son, Michael (wife Dorri) Dieck; son, James (wife Sandy) Dieck; daughter, Paula Dieck; Grandchildren: Mallory (husband Matt) Lynch, Angela (husband Wesley) Anderson, Jonathan (wife Leslie) Dieck, Kristopher (wife Lucy) Dieck, Megan Dieck, Jordan (wife Zabrina) Dieck, Eve Dieck, Benjamin Dieck; Great Grandchild: Zeon Dieck.
