Kathleen D. Van Hammond

Kathleen D. Van Hammond, age 59, Weyauwega, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 5, 1959 in Harvey IL, daughter of the late Robert and Geraldine (Peterson) Frank. On April 23, 1983, Kathleen was united in marriage to Clifford Van Hammond in Fremont, WI. She was a life-long member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Weyauwega; she loved being part of the church family. Kathleen also loved her grandson Kai and the many people she met at dialysis over the last 15 years.

She is survived by her children: Jessica Morgan; Matthew Van Hammond; a brother Bryan (Chong) Frank; grandson Kai Morgan and also other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; a brother William H. Frank and a grandson Dakarai Morgan

The Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Weyauwega with Fr. Xavier Santiago officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, King.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Fresenius Dialysis Center, Waupaca for all the care and concern they gave to Kathleen over the years.
