Kathryn E. Howe

age 78, of Weyauwega passed away Thursday July 1, 2010 at Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca. She was born January 7, 1932 in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Ernest and Esther Anklam. She married Howard Brickey. They separated. She married Elmer Howe. He preceded her in death. Kathryn was employed at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega for 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. She collected Build a Bears, enjoyed reading, crocheting, and playing bingo with residents at Crystal River. She was a big wrestling fan. She is survived by a son Jerry (Lori) Brickey, Weyauwega; a daughter: Barbara (Dennis) Durrant, Weyauwega; grandchildren: Lisa, Brian (Jenny), Chris, Eric and Amanda; 5 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a daughter Patricia and great grandchild Rebecca. The Funeral Service for Kathryn will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church 206 E. Badger Street in Waupaca with Rev. Jennifer DeNetz officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 11:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
