Kelli passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee from blood on the brain, not from her heart. She passed with her loving family over her. She was the loving daughter of Chris and Cindy Prinsen; sister to Natasha Pirk (Bryce Griffin); and best auntie to Alexis Ann her pride and joy. She was born at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee on October 3, 2001. Kelli will always be remembered for her smiles and her “quirky side” as Ashlyn would say. She had many little sayings with people like ”you hee me” or “vat r u doing”. Through out her whole life, Kelli was a happy girl, nothing could really bring her down.
Kelli is survived by her parents: Christopher and Cindy Prinsen; sister: Natasha Pirk (Bryce Griffin); niece: Alexis, New London; grandparents: Mary Loken (B.A.G) Clintonville; Sherry Prinsen, Manawa; uncle: Tom Georgeson (Carrie), Symco; and several special cousins, aunts and uncles and her cat Baby.
She was preceded in death by her grandpa: Gene Loken; great grandparents: Tony and Dorthy Prinsen; and great grandparents: Clarence and Katie Voss.
We can’t thank Camp Odayin (heart camp) enough, (she was packed to go there this weekend) for letting her be her and giving her the heart family that those kids need. A special thank you to all her doctors and surgeons and nurses: Michele Frommelt, Doctor Tweddell, and Doctor Kindle just to name a few. Also a very special heart friend Ashlyn Boher, and all her other special friends too many to list. We also want to thank Make A Wish for a beautiful family trip we had together.
Kelli was such a fun, kind hearted, beautiful, and joyful person to be around. She could brighten a room with her smile everywhere. Kelli was so deeply loved by many and she will be so missed forever, but we want people to keep her spirit alive until we meet again.
The funeral service for Kelli will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Ogdensburg (700 Main St.) with Rev. Roger Nielsen officiating. A visitation for Kelli will be held at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Thursday from 3-7p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Kelli, you know how much dad and mom loved you. You were such a strong person, you taught us so much. Now who’s going to show us the tricks on our phones? Love you baby girl! Love you Tink!
