Kenneth G. LaRue, age 89, of Weyauwega, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his residence with family by his side. He was born in Kaukauna, WI on March 16, 1935, the oldest son of the late George and Blanche (Lambie) LaRue.

He married Judith A. Wheaton on September 21, 1957, in Winneconne, WI. Together they celebrated 67 years of marriage. Ken served his country in the US Army from 1957 to 1959. He was a master barber and owned and operated Ken's Barber Shop on Main Street downtown Weyauwega for 50 years. He also drove school bus for the Weyauwega-Fremont schools for 33 years. Ken enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. In his later years when he couldn't hunt anymore, he still enjoyed watching the deer.

Ken is survived by his wife, Judy LaRue; sons: Michael LaRue (special friend Tammy Beyer), Christopher LaRue; daughter, Amy (John) Blank Jr.; grandchildren: Tabitha LaRue (special friend Kevin Jensen), Sarah Blank (husband Joshua "Adán" Valdez) and John Blank III; four brothers: Duane LaRue, Thomas (Barb) LaRue, Denis (Shirley) LaRue and Lawrence LaRue.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, an infant sister, and sister-in-law Shirley LaRue.

A Celebration of Life for Ken will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Weyauwega.
