Kenneth A. Koehler

Kenneth A. Koehler, age 80, of Waupaca, formerly of Appleton, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 28, 1940 in Weyauwega, son of the late Arnold and Anna (Henschel) Koehler. Ken graduated from Weyauwega High School and then graduated from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska in 1962.While at college, he was in the Acapella Choir that toured seven countries in Europe. After college, Ken taught at Trinity Lutheran School in Elgin, Minnesota and also St. Paul Lutheran School in Janesville. He worked in customer service for over 30 years at Appleton Coated Papers and also at Appleton Medical Center as a Breakfast Fry Cook for 6 years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield.

He is survived by his siblings: Ronald (Carol) Koehler, Lavonne (Jim) Handrich Everson, Darrell (Karen) Koehler. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral for Ken will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield with Rev. Wayne Schwanke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. A visitation for Ken will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
