Kerry D. Bork, age 70, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on January 25, 1954, in New London, son of the late Darwin and Barbara (Knapstein) Bork. Kerry graduated from St. Mary Central Catholic High School in Menasha in 1972. He became a barber after attending Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Kerry loved fishing in his free time. He liked driving around to all the fishing spots in the Appleton and surrounding areas. Kerry also enjoyed playing cribbage with his friends. His love for a roast beef sandwich and an ice cold Coke will always be something we'll remember.
Kerry is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Derek and Jafia Bork; sister, Cindy (Randy) Sweet; nephew, Justin (Christopher) Sweet; niece, Elisa Sweet; uncle, Jerry (Julene) Bork; cousin, Scott (Heidi) Bork.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Henry and Elsie (Rach) Bork, William and Floney (Schultz) Knapstein.
A graveside service for Kerry will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center (101 E. Main St.) in Weyauwega from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
