Kirk Walker Fletcher went to his heavenly home at the age of 83 on July 6, 2023 after years of courageously fighting Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP). He was born on March 30, 1940 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Kenneth and Lucille (Walker) Fletcher.
He graduated as Class of 1958 President at New London High School. After graduation he went on to serve in the U.S. Army for 2 years. On June 5, 1965 he married Angeline (Allen) at the methodist church in New London, Wisconsin and had just recently celebrated 58 years together. They raised their family in Royalton, Wisconsin. He loved traveling and camping in his RV surrounded by the people he loved. His favorite place to learn about and to visit was out west, especially South Dakota. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and of course loved his casino trips.
He was survived by his wife, Angie; children: Keri (Richard) Luedke, Dean (Carol) Fletcher, Barry (Naomi) Fletcher; grandchildren: Jordyn, Adam, David, Ashley, Dustin, Andy, Dawn; many great grandkids, step grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Kirk was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Juanita and Virgina.
A Memorial Service for Kirk will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center in Weyauwega (101 E. Main St.). A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Celebration Center from 12:00pm until the time of the service.
