Leo D. Fietzer, age 62, of Manawa, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was born on July 2, 1962 in New London, son of the late Lester and Irene (Roland) Fietzer.
Leo attended school in the New London School District. He worked construction and was a welder for various companies over the years. He loved hunting with his cousin Russ, fishing, and having a cold Busch Light with friends. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren. Leo always tried to help others and spent time raising funds for Keller's Lake Day Camp in Marion.
He is survived by his long time partner Kelly Hoppa; children: Ashley Ridge, Michael Wilden, Lisa (Shawn) Nelson; grandchildren: Raelynn, Ferrah, Jurnee and Lincoln; siblings: Lynn (Orin) Zirbel, Lois (Steve) Cunningham and Lana (Jerry) Simonis. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Leon, Lyle, Lew and Larry Fietzer.
A Celebration of Life for Leo will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Hidden Waters Golf Course in Waupaca from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
