Leonard Miller

Age 94, of Weyauwega, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011. He was born on May 31, 1916 in the Town of Weyauwega, son of the late William and Augusta (Heinrich) Miller. On August 6, 1943 he married Arline Shepard in New London. She preceded him in death in 2005. Bing worked at Wolf River Sausage in Weyauwega, also the Soo Line Railroad and then retired from Hillshire Farm in New London. He loved hunting and fishing. Bing was a volunteer firefighter for the Weyauwega Fire Department for 37 years. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. He is survived by a son-in-law: Thomas Wenzel; two grandchildren: Tiffany Wenzel, Grand Prairie, Texas; Tammy Wenzel, Stoughton, Wisconsin; brothers-in-law: Dan (Sandy) Gutbrod, Don Sawall; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Arline, also two daughters Wendy Bucholtz and Sandi Wenzel, two brothers and four sisters. The Christian Funeral for Bing will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
