Lorraine Heimbruch

Lorraine Heimbruch, age 91, New London, formerly of the Town of St. Lawrence, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017. She was born on June 7, 1925, to the late Alfred and Martha (Miller) Nollenberg in the Town of St. Lawrence. She was united in marriage to Lorin Heimbruch on March 30, 1946 in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1998. Lorraine graduated from Little Wolf High School, Manawa and then attended Stevens Point University for 2 years. She taught elementary education for 1 year at Pine Grove School Casey. Lorraine also worked at Sturm Foods, Hamilton’s Cannery Company and the Manawa Nursing Center, dietary department. She lived in the Town of St. Lawrence until moving to New London in 1996. Lorraine was a member of the Bean City Card Club, she loved playing sheepshead and she also loved ballroom dancing with her husband.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Larry Heimbruch, Appleton and a sister, Ardyce Rice, Manawa.

The funeral for Lorraine will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home, Manawa with Harold Clumpner officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Park Cemetery, Town of Lawrence.
