Lorraine Hellengreen

Age 87, of Waupaca, formerly of Grand Ridge, IL died Monday November 17, 2008 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born November 3, 1921 in Ottawa, IL, daughter of the late Jules and Anna (Scannell) Mettille. On October 12, 1946 she married Delos Frank Hellengreen at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ottawa, IL where Loraine was a long time member. They were blessed with 54 years of marriage. He preceded her in death September 27, 2000. Lorraine is survived by her son: Dale (Tammy) Hellengreen, Weyauwega; her daughters: Debra Hughes, Fremont; Diane Hellengreen, Peoria, IL; four grandchildren: Kellie (Jeff) Davis, Kristie (Andy) Gaines, Erik (Sharon) Hellengreen and Jennie Hellengreen; four great grandchildren: Taylor Kruchten, Jamie Davis, Serna Davis and Jack Hellengreen. Beside her husband she was preceded in death by her grandson Dale Michael Hellengreen. The funeral Mass for Lorraine will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 19, 2008 at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 105 N. Lincoln St. Weyauwega, with Rev. Bertin Samsa OFM officiating. Burial will be in the Northport-Ostrander Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
