Madelaine Kay Reese

Age 54, of Weyauwega, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at her residence following a lingering illness. She was born on June 3, 1954 in Columbus, daughter of the late Leonard and Florence (Jacobs) Sherman. Madelaine graduated from Watertown High School She married Gary Struck, and he preceded her in death in 1994. On February 8, 1996 she married Paul Reese in Waupaca. Following her marriage, she lived in Weyauwega and was employed at Fleet Farm in Waupaca. She loved gardening and enjoyed flea markets, and also loved her cats. Her primary joy in life was her husband and son and her recently purchased home. She is survived by her husband Paul and son Christopher John; two sisters: Joyce (Wilfred) Nass, Whitewater; Linda (Peter) Van Beem, Watertown; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nita Reha, Jim (Brenda) Biadasz, Phyllis Lider, Kim (Becky) Petersen, Ron (Melissa) Winters. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Her parents and first husband preceded her in death. The funeral service for Madelaine will be held on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega wit ThedaCare at Home Hospice Chaplain Rev. Jim Frank officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
