Margaret 'Peggy' Wandtke

Margaret "Peggy" Wandtke, age 54, of Stevens Point, formerly of Manawa died unexpectedly Sunday August 13, 2006. She was born September 3, 1951 in New London daughter of Walter and Mildred (Hazen) Wandtke. "Peggy" graduated from Little Wolf High School in Manawa with the class of 1969. She graduated from UW Oshkosh in 1973 earning a degree in Communications. After her career in Communications, she became a stay at home mom and loved raising her boys. She was very fond of animals, especially her horses. Survivors include her sons: Andrew Fietzer, Waupaca; Nick Lee, Stevens Point; Alex Lee, California; her mother and step-father: Mildred and Gordon Carew, Manawa; her brother: Denis (Betsy) Wandtke, Ogdensburg; two nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Walter. A private family service will be held. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
