Mary Ann Roe, age 58, of Manawa, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Thedacare Regional Medical Center of New London. She was born on January 28, 1961, daughter of the late Frank and Severna (Much) Roe. Mary Graduated from Little Wolf High School in Manawa in 1979. Before her early retirement, Mary worked many years at Flanagan's Kraut Factory in Bear Creek. Mary was always very active in the community volunteering for the Symco Thresheree, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the local senior centers, as well as being a long-time member of the ABATE of Wisconsin and St. Marks Lutheran Church of Symco. Mary always managed to find humor in every situation and had a deep love and appreciation for family and friends. Mary also Loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, rubber stamps, and stationery embossing, and picking wild asparagus.
She is survived by her siblings, Margie (Dave) Kowalski and Frank (Shelly Swan) Roe; a nephew Benjamin Roe; two nieces, Jasmine McCarville and Megan Van Dyke; and her long-time partner Rob Klatt. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service for Mary will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 6 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are greatly appreciated.
